As we wind down the day and I rock Carter to sleep, I thought I would give our family and the readers a "Carter update."
Houston, we have a tooth! And we chew everything! We have been trying out different baby foods and I'm finding that a good rule of thumb is… if it's orange, he eats it. (seems appropriate coming from a huge UT fan family) Carrots, sweet potatoes and peaches… we LOVE! Green beans...love those too! Squash, that's another story. Squash seems to bring about the gag reflex and makes him mad!
Carter is also sitting up on his own for a little bit, a minute or so. We also recently purchased a high chair and it makes life much easier! For some reason, being in the high chair makes Carter think he's a part of the group or conversation. It puts him on our level.
Carter gets 6 month pictures on the fourth of march (and don't worry, I'll share!!). He turns 6 months on the 5th and gets 6 month shots on the 6th. I can't believe that it has been almost half of a year.
Momma momma seems to be our word of choice, but DADDY gets all of the kisses......not sure how that works!
I guess that's about all that is new with buster! Cherishing every moment. (even the late nights and early mornings because YES we still have them!)
